Pair of Canadian Modernist Cord Chairs by Jacques Guillon









A pair of delicate accent chair by French Canadian designer Jacques Guillon. Designed in 1953, nearly transparent design consists of three interlocking wooden pieces stacked maple plywood faced with a contrasting walnut veneer joined by a wooden dowel and strung with taut nylon cord that provides the framework and cushion of the chair.
