Expect less plastic with your takeout orders: "Skip the Stuff" Goes into Effect in NYC!
On Monday, the sustainability policy "Skip the Stuff" went into effect in NYC! Under this law, restaurants and food service businesses will not provide customers with eating utensils, extra containers, condiment packets, or napkins for takeout or delivery orders (unless specifically requested by the customer). The reduction of single-use plastics in the waste stream is expected to be significant.
