New York has some of the country's most ambitious climate goals. It's going to take a lot of work to get there, but one great place to start is with the NYC Accelerator. If New York City is going to reduce its carbon emissions it will have to update its aging, energy inefficient buildings. That's where the accelerator program comes in: its a program through the Mayor's Office of Climate and Environmental Justice offering resources, training, and one-on-one guidance for building owners, managers and industry professionals to learn about switching to efficient energy. This includes education about new regulations and beneficial financing options for green upgrades.
