Following the 2019 legislation that initiated the Paint Care Collection Program, there has been an increase in paint drop off at our site, intended for recycling. As paint is being collected in the Big Reuse department we want to offer unconventional, creative usage for splashing color throughout your space.

Walls at home: Though this may be obvious, the range of color inside of homes has faltered as minimalism becomes ubiquitous. The aesthetic is associated with limited furniture, open spaces and neutral colors that evoke a sense of calm according to color theory. While stress relief is an omnipresent desire, bold colors are said to be a stimulant for dopamine. Every color has it’s unique benefits and at Big Reuse we have a wide scope that can align with your imagination.

Closet doors: Will the landlord be pissed when you move out? Not if you paint over it :) ! As mentioned before– color has influence over your emotions. Executing an art project on your doors would ensure your space has a unique kick from your own hands.

Outdoor projects: From fences, to the stairs, floors, bird houses, and even murals; there are many ways to enhance your back space and extend art into nature. This option is not limited to individuals with gardens given community spaces are becoming omnipresent

As mentioned above, stairs and concrete are becoming more and more prevalent as an outlet for creativity. They serve as tourist attractions in locations such as Knoxville and Philadelphia as creatives extend the concept of maximalism to every inch of a space. Decorating floors and stairs provides a near 360 degree view of what an artist's space looks like!

Personal projects: For artists who construct sculptures, major art pieces or design large masses themselves– the usage of this paint would be prime! Implementing the usage of this paint, would ensure an environmentally friendly solution to your artistry heart.
Extended modes of usage exist and though not all are considered on this list, they ensure that you will have fun, coloring the world in a sustainable manner!
