"Thank you sssssooo much BIG REUSE for the opportunity to be a part of the Compost Cohort Workshop. I truly enjoyed learning first hand the importance of composting and its process. The facilitators ((Natalia. ..Elena…Reggie)). were totally awesome along with the classmates. The field trips with hands on sifting potting soil. Breaking down the food scraps into piles. Learning the heating and curing process was such fun. I plan to continue to attend sites available to continue learning about the composting. I will be taking the knowledge with me to our Bay 84th Street Community Garden" -- Spencer, graduate of Big Reuse's first 2025 Master Composter cohort

This advanced education and outreach program is open to New Yorkers who are at least 18 years of age. We are grateful that funding for this program was restored for FY25 from the City Council. Current funding is through June 30, 2025.
